Study Network of Pediatric Endocrinology (SNoPE) is a forum for all members of PES to find collaborators for existing or potential future clinical studies.
The goals of SNoPE are to support clinical research in the field of pediatric endocrinology to:
- Systematically collect data on common and rare conditions
- Examine disease and management outcomes
- Conduct hypothesis driven multi-center research studies
- Conduct pharmacokinetic and pharmacogenomic studies
- Enable the collection and banking of DNA and other biologic samples
In pursuit of these goals, this forum enables you to:
- List your already established protocol in order to find collaborators or request patient referral
- Find an investigator who has an established protocol and is seeking collaborators
- Elicit the opinion of PES members as to whether the project/protocol you envision will find interest (and thus collaborators)
- Participate in SNoPE-initiated studies.
Adverse Drug Reactions
As a result of the SNoPE discussions and the elucidation of the complications associated with the use of PTU, the ability for members to report potential adverse effects can now be made through a direct link on the PES website to the FDA’s MedWatch Home Page. http://www.fda.gov/medwatch/
